Can I Change My Earring after 1-7 Days?
No, one day is not enough for your newly made ear piercing to heal.
It's a very common question, however important for anyone whom newly pierced their ears.
Can I Change My Earring after a couple Days?
-
No, you can't change your earrings for the first 6-8 weeks.
If you wanna change it, your ears might get infected. -
At this time, the wound is still fresh. Trying to put the earring back in the hole may make your ear bleed.
-
Changing with another pair of earrings that aren’t the hypoallergenic ones from the piercer is a huge no.
-
This will introduce bacteria to the newly made hole. You should keep it clean with rubbing alcohol.

I pierced my ears 2 days ago but I wasn’t happy with the jewelry so I change it to a Hypoallergenic studs, but the swelling hasn’t gone down, should I leave it in?
If I clean the earing that I am replacing the other one with really well and its hypoallergenic, can I change the earing after a day?
Hi Dua, keep in mind that you shouldn’t touch it with dirty hands at all. You can try loosening it. First wash your hands then try rubbing alcohol to the front and back of it. Grab the butterfly back and try pushing the tip of the pin out from the back of your ear. If the next day you still see it’s swelling, then visit a doctor or your piercer.

I had my ear piercing 4 days ago since two days the back of my ear piercing (butterfly back) it’s too tight and causing pain and swelling , whenever u try to loose it, it’s hurting so badly what should I do ?
Hi Kem, Usually your piercer should guide you according to your ear holes.
In my opinion changing the back of the earrings or loosening them should be okay as long as you don’t remove the earrings. Use whatever Earring Back that is most comfortable for you. Don’t forget to clean with rubbing alcohol before and after you touch that area.
