- A V-neck is best paired with a pendant necklace. The pendant should fall comfortably above the neckline. Choose a necklace that falls one inch above it.
- The boat neckline is wide and reveals a part of the shoulder. Wear a long necklace, that ends far below the neckline. Or, wear a choker necklace that enhances the collar bone. Due to the similarity, this trick can be applied to off-sleeve dresses as well.
- Don’t wear any necklace if the neckline is decorated. If a dress has a collar, beads, or embellishments, leave it like that. Adding a necklace will only clutter the look.
