Will My Earring Holes Close up Overnight?
I assume that you've pierced your recently.
Wearing earrings during your sleep might make you feel uncomfortable.
So, that's why you will want to remove them.
But, will your earring holes close up overnight?
Here's all you need to know:
-
If you pierced your ears 6 weeks ago or longer then they won't close up overnight.
Only one night is too little time for the ear lobe to close.
So, feel free to remove your earrings for a few hours. -
But, you don't want to wait for too long.
Putting them back can be painful. - Also, be careful when dealing with newly pierced earrings(Less than 6 weeks).
They can close pretty fast, so you are advised not to remove your earrings at all.
Also Keep cleaning them a couple times a day for the first few months until they get completely healed.
This will keep you away from infection.
That's all you need about closing up your earrings overnight.

where you say can close in a few weeks if no longer using earrings…However I got pierced in 1986 one ear, used earring for a few months then never used ..yet it still is open…I actually wanted it to close but never did it does get a little sebum..which I eventually clean every few years but it will not close.. why ? lol
Dear Sarah, 1-Swollen ear could be a sign of infection on the first place. Consider seeing a doctor to make sure everything is right. Cleaning the ear hole a couple time a day with rubbing alcohol is recommended for two months. 2- Yes it starts closing up because your body sees it as an injury. You gotta make sure you keep your helix piercing in for 6-8 weeks or until it completely heals. Maybe you should consider longer helix piercings. Keep it clean.
The back of my helix piercing fell off because my ear is so swollen. Will my ear hole close up because I’ve only had it for a week?
